On International Fact-checking day we extend gratitude to all the truth warriors included Factshala India Media Literacy team, who are conducted awareness campaigns and are committed towards contributing towards betterment of the society and individuals .
All over the world organisations, institutions, groups, individuals are fighting against fake and false information. Factshala is one of those fighters, it is Media Literacy program which in collaboration with Data Leads and Google News Initiative, makes people aware a misinformation, fake news and information Literacy. It enables them to fact check the information.
We all are aware and have experienced also that how people included kids and old ones are falling prey to the misleading news in all spheres of life. Which has affected the peaceful life of them.
So keeping mental hygiene in mind factshala team trained trainers all over world to help societies to fight against fake, myths, misinformation and work for the authentic information and its implications .
The aim of this media literacy program is to create awareness about meanings emanating from media discourse and how not to fell victim to the false information which we receive through social media.
On International fact checking day we may take pledge that together we must contribute towards making thoughtful thinking and actions for the peace and harmony of the society by not disseminating false and misleading information.
Today on International Fact-Checking Day, we must start making it to be a habit to pay attention to the following points for that we all take a pledge to contribute towards thoughtful thinking and actions for the peace, progress and harmony of the society.

Before spreading news or information we must see source, context, cause and medium of communication, fact check and analyse information thorough critical analysis.
